This November, Learning Forward Kansas (LFKS) is excited to welcome four-time best-selling author and presenter Dr. Jenni Donohoo back to the LFKS Fall Institute. This will be a follow up to her presentations at LFKS Annual Leadership Conference last February and the Kansas Association of Special Education Administrators last March. Those presentations focused on the research behind collective efficacy. Now Kansas educators are ready to learn more about putting the power of collective efficacy into practice as they move from knowing to doing!!
In this one day workshop, educators from large, medium, or small districts will
- identify the positive outcomes of collective efficacy
- understand how collective efficacy supports student success
- explore resources for establishing collective efficacy
- experience the power of collective efficacy and preparing to put it into practice
- consider conditions and leadership practices for collective efficacy to flourish
- harness professional learning structures/protocols that promote collective efficacy.
Bring a team! Learn together and leave the Fall Institute ready to utilize collective efficacy in YOUR district and buildings to improve student success.
Dr. Donohoo’s work on Collective Efficacy (teams performing better when they believe in and are confident of their abilities), is recommended by John Hattie, and she appears on his short list of up and coming educational leaders.
